About Me
A techie who fell in love with Personal Finance. Long long ago, in the yo-yo .com days (2000), I used to run calcplus.com (a financial calculators site) and Wealthfront.com(a personal finance portal) with 2 other bachelors from a 1 BHK in Mumbai. Then life happened. 25 years on, having worked in Tech and in Banks, RetirementYatra.com is my nostalgic tip of the hat to the interesting times I lived in. Retired at 50, I'm reliving my passion for tech and personal finance through RetirementYatra.
Retirement is a tectonic shift in ones life. As I make that transition, I'm sharing a few insights and a tool set built for all DIYers who believe in planning their Retirement themselves . RetirementYatra focuses on the mind shift from accumulation phase to distribution. The site shares a few personal finance concepts especially for "young" retirees while the sister site, RetirementYatra.com hosts all you can use, a free buffet of tools to backtest their own retirement portfolios using Mutual Funds. The site makes no investment recommendations. Its just tools and insights. Wishing all Retirees a financially rewarding Retirement Yatra!
